Day 1: Arrival-Yangon

Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, our tour guide will welcome and bring the guests to the private air-con coach to visit to magnificent reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi, and visit the Yangon downtown area to explore the city centre and its wonderful mix of architecture and sites.  You will be able to observe the historical buildings, most of which have a colonial charm which is rare to see in Asia.  Later on, visit to Botataung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon’s waterfront where one can see Buddha’s hair relic and Botataung Jetty to see the panoramic Yangon river

In the afternoon, visit to Bogyoke Market (Formerly Scott’s Market), a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware, Gems shops and all sorts of handicraft. *It is closed on Monday.

Later, with a visit just before sunset to the Shwedagon Pagoda for its breathtakingly glittering gold-covered stupas and end your day with beautiful lights at Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 2 : Yangon-Bagan

Breakfast at Hotel

After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for the flight to Bagan.

Upon your arrival start your Bagan tour with a visit to the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, unveil the glory of Bagan’s history by visits to archeological treasures such as the Shwezigon Pagoda for its impressive bell-shaped stupa, Dhaman Yan Gyi and graceful Htilominlo Temple with its delicate plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

Continue to discover the ancient and most treasured handicrafts of lacquering by a demonstration from skilled artisan. Explore the amazing mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO at Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, and enjoy your soothing sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Overnight in Bagan

Day 3 : Bagan – Popa – Salay - Bagan

After breakfast, drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano over 1,500m high, about 48km south east of Bagan. Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since the earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the Popa-Taung Kalat volcanic peak is simply breathtaking.

And then, we will drive to Sale. Visit the Payathonezu, with its mural paintings; Nanpaya, the largest lacquer Buddha image in Myanmar; and the Yoke Sone Kyaung, the oldest wooden monastery in Bagan area.

Overnight in Bagan.

Day 4 : Bagan - Mandalay – Amarapura – Inwa

Breakfast at hotel

Departure to Mandalay by flight.

Depart for trip to Amarapura and Ava .

We’ll drive former capitals of Amarapura and visit U Pain Bridge, the whole bridge done with entire wood. Proceed to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and visit by horse and carriage the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and fort, and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan and Htihlaing Shin Paya. Drive Back to Mandalay.

We will visit Mahamuni pagoda, one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf for hundreds of layers. And then visit to Marble carving workshop and Gold- Leaf beating workshop. In the afternoon visit Shwe Nan Daw Monastery, Ku Tho Daw Pagoda and enjoy the sunset at Mandalay hill.

Day 5 : Mandalay - Yangon

Breakfast at hotel, Transfer flight back to yangon.
