Day 1: Arrival-Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our local guide and visit the magnificent reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi, and near Sule Pagoda, Visits at Botataung Pagoda and Jetty, a famous Landmark on Rangoons waterfront. Situated just below the long lines of jetties that serve this busy port And to see the panoramic Yangon river.

After a photo stop at the Karaweik Hall, a hamsa-bird-shaped floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake is waiting for your embark.

Later, with a visit just before sunset to the Shwedagon Pagoda for its breathtakingly glittering gold-covered stupas, after a tasty welcome dinner dance show, end your day with beautiful lights at Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 2 : Yangon- Mandalay-Amrapura – Avva - Sagaing Hill

Breakfast at hotel .Transfer to Mandalay flight and depart for trip to Amrapura and Ava.

We’ll drive former capitals of Amarapura and visit U Pain Bridge, the whole bridge done with entire wood. Proceed to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and visit by horse and carriage the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and fort, and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan and Htihlaing Shin Paya. Drive back to Mandalay

In the afternoon cross the bridge over the Irrawaddy River and continue to Sagaing. Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers.

Day 3 : Mandalay-PyinOoLwin

Breakfast at hotel.

Overland drive to Pyinoolwin (Maymyo), the British hill station with Victoria style houses. Visit to Local market and walk around the town to watch the old British style of houses that can not be seen even in Britain.

Visit to Pyin Oo Lwin market, and then continue to National Botanical Garden to learn the

different species of trees, plants and flowers. Proceed to Pwekauk waterfall and

Peikchinmyaung natural cave nearby Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 4 : PyinOoLwin - Hsipaw

After breakfast at hotel

This morning we will take you to train station en route to Naung Paing, take about 3 and 1/2 hours ride (with Upper Class), the train will pass The Gokteik Viaduct) and upon arrival to Naung Paing Station our diver will meet you and proceed to Hsipaw (1 hr and 30 min drive), historic small town, sightseeing around the town and visit to Mahamyat Muni Paya, the biggest ans grandest pagoda in the main town.

Day 5 : Hsipaw

Photo walk around Hsipaw morning market. There is a central market in town opening all day long. Nevertheless the morning market is still attracting for a morning walk. The villagers around Hsipaw come down to this market to sell all the vegetables from their garden, foods they make to the people who come with their bicycles, motor bikes with two big baskets behind. Those buyers with full of stock on their bikes, sell them back all the way to their villages. So that is a busy early morning market with a few candle lights. The best time to see it is before 6am.

Naturally pool.One of the most interesting walk as you goes through the villages, rice fields and streams on the way there.

Hsipaw was ruled by SHAN prince for 5 century. Why it is still famous and popular to us, one of the fascinating reasons is the book titled Twilight over Burma (My Life as a Shan Princess) written by the Inge Surgent, Austrian who married to our Last Prince of Hsipaw. You will learn many interesting thing in the book. Mr. Donald’s (the nephew of the last prince) family is looking after the residence now known as SHAN Palace.

Get in the boat and travel upstream with the mountains, valleys, and fruit plantations along the river. Make a visit to a SHAN village which has typical houses with charming gardens Walk uphill to a 150 year old monastery set on its own in the forest. Return to Hsipaw by boat.

Day 6 : Hsipaw - Mandalay

We will drive back to Mandalay.

Start visit Mahamuni pagoda, one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf for hundreds of layers. And then visit to Marble carving workshop and Gold- Leaf beating workshop. In the afternoon visit Shwe Nan Daw Monastery, Ku ThoDaw Pagoda and enjoy the sunset at Mandalay hill.

Day 7 : Mandalay - Yangon

Breakfast at Hotel

Transfer flight back to Yangon.

You will transfer to Yangon Railway station to take local circular train journey to the outskirts of town (45 minutes ride). The slowly traveling train gives you a unique opportunity to observe the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people.  Disembark to visit Insein market where a variety of street vendors sell colorful wares.  Enjoy exploring the market and meeting the friendly locals before returning by road to Yangon.

This afternoon enjoy a city tour by car  around the colonial area which is filled various historical buildings. Stop for a drink at a local teashop, a great place to soak in the local culture and lifestyle, before traveling along the famous Strand Road to the riverside.

And finish the day with a walk in colorful Chinatown and visit Yangon’s oldest Chinese temple: the Kheng Hock Keong.

Day 8 : Yangon - Departure

Breakfast at hotel, visit to Bogyoke Market (Formerly Scott’s), you can find all the souvenir items you were searching for. It is closed on Monday.

You will have some time to explore Yangon, after that, we will proceed to Yangon international airport for your departure flight back to ……
