Over 400 miles (640 km) north of Yangon on the bank of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River, it’s known for the Bagan Archaeological Area, where more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments tower over green plains.
Bagan is not only famous for the monuments but also can study the ways of people and some handcraft such as lacqueware.

Upon your arrival our guide will welcome you at airport with a board with your name and then start your Bagan tour with a visit to the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, unveil the glory of Bagan’s history by visits to archeological treasures such as the Shwezigon Pagoda for its impressive bell-shaped stupa, Dhaman Yan Gyi and graceful Htilominlo Temple with its delicate plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.
Continue to discover the ancient and most treasured handicrafts of lacquering by a demonstration from skilled artisan. Explore the amazing mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO at Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, and enjoy your soothing sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Hotel Check-in.

After breakfast at Hotel, guide and driver will fetch you for a trip to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano over 1,500m high, about 48km south east of Bagan. Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since the earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the Popa-Taung Kalat volcanic peak is simply breathtaking.
On the way back to Bagan, along the way we will stop in a local village where the people use the fruit of the palm tree to make wine and molasses. Witness the incredible production process and will enjoy the palm juice. Then return to Bagan . sunset at AyeYarwaddy River by Boat.
